With Easter quickly approaching, I wanted to get this fun and easy pattern out! These bitty bunny baskets are so fun and quick to make!
Measurements: 5 inch diameter, 3.5 inches tall
Supplies:
Super bulky (6) yarn or t-shirt yarn
8mm crochet hook
Stitch marker
Scissors
Strand of wt 4 yarn to add face embroidery
Abbreviations:
MR: magic ring
ST: stitch
SC: single crochet
SC INC: single crochet increase
BLO: back loop only
SS: slip stitch
To begin, hold two strands of your choice of yarn together.
Row 1: sc 6 into MR (6)
Row 2: sc inc in each st (12)
Row 3: sc 1, sc inc around (18)
Row 4: sc 2, sc inc around (24)
Row 5: sc BLO in each st (24)
Rows 6-10: Waste coat stitch in each st around (24)
Row 11: ss in first 11 stitches, ch 12 and ss back into same stitch. (This makes the first ear) ss in next 3 st, chain 12 and ss back into same stitch (this is your second ear), ss in next 10 sts, fasten off. Weave ends
Add embroidery eyes and nose or leave as is!
